This delightful bracelet adds Miyuki's Long Magatama beads (LMA) to the traditional leather wrap bracelet design. Add some 3mm Swarovski bicones, size 8/0 seed beads, Greek leather and a button closure to create this fun and fluttery project.
The Miyuki Long Magatama beads add three-dimensional wings that face in opposite directions in our single wrap Firefly Bracelet. The tiny 3mm Swarovski crystals add just the right amount of shine. They look great stacked with other wrap bracelets, yet they're bold enough to wear as a stand-alone. Take care to stitch each row of Long Magatamas facing outward. It can be tricky to see which direction they want to face at first. You'll be adding size 8/0 seed beads every fourth row so that the curve in your bracelet doesn't become over exaggerated. Size D Clon-thread and a size 10 beading needle will make it easy to make multiple passes through the beads.
